Lakeside Middle School hosted it’s 4th Annual Day of Caring on Tuesday, November 21. This project is completely student-led from beginning to end. Each year, the 7th-grade students venture out into the community and assist Garland County not-for-profit organizations. From cleaning and organizing to painting and art projects, the students find a need and help. Lakeside Middle School’s 5th and 6th graders joined the cause this year. The lower grades stayed on campus and helped beautify the camps by picking up trash and planting flowers. Several classes also visited the Primary to read books and craft with the students.
